This coming Monday night, 6/29, we will have a Food Decorating Event at the Buford Library @ 6:30.

We will transform cookies, ice cream, and M&M’s into flying saucers. We will transform cupcakes into hamburgers. And wait until you see what we will do with the Rice Krispie treats!

So come hungry and prepared to get a little messy :-)

Make Art! Alter a Book!

Do you enjoy making things and doing crafts?

On Monday night, June 15, @ 6:30pm we will be having an Altered Book Workshop at the Buford Library.

So what exactly is an altered book? Any book that has been altered or creatively modified (i.e. painted, folded, stamped, cut, etc.) to be transformed into a work of art!


You can see more examples of altered books done by customers and staff here.

Books to alter and crafty materials will be provided. But if you have a book you are inspired to alter, bring it!
